Job Overview – Medication Administration Nurse (LPN):

Compensation: $41/hour

Location: White Plains, NY

Schedule: Monday to Friday (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM)

Our healthcare client is hiring a Medication Administration Nurse (LPN) in White Plains, NY, to provide essential care and medication oversight for youth in a residential behavioral health setting. In this impactful role, you'll administer medications, deliver health education, and support daily clinical operations as part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities as the Medication Administration Nurse (LPN):

• Medication Management: Transcribe, administer, and document medications, including psychotropics, while ensuring proper consent.
• Pharmacy & Inventory Coordination: Communicate with pharmacies, verify deliveries, and maintain medication inventory and stock supplies.
• Recordkeeping & Compliance: Maintain accurate MARs and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
• Controlled Substances Oversight: Monitor narcotic counts, manage disposal, and enforce secure storage protocols.
• Clinical & Operational Support: Provide direct care for illness or injury and oversee medication processes within the residential unit.

Qualifications for the Medication Administration Nurse (LPN):

• Licensure: Active New York State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in pediatrics, acute, or sub-acute care settings preferred.
• Certification: Current CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Skills & Attributes: Detail-oriented, communicative, and dependable, with a strong focus on youth care in fast-paced settings.
• Language Requirement: Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
